[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][headline_box text=”About Christ” align=”Center”][vc_column_text]The Bible is a book of prophecy that testifies about Christ. Among the many prophecies about Christ, let’s recognize the Second Coming Christ through the history of Melchizedek.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Biblicists and theologians consider Melchizedek to be one of the greatest mysteries in the Bible. He appears only twice in the Old Testament and the ministry of Christ is described as the priesthood in the order of Melchizedek. Then, what is the order of Melchizedek? Let us understand the meaning behind Melchizedek and how he teaches us about the Second Coming Christ.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_text_separator title=”The Origin of Melchizedek” title_align=”separator_align_center” color=”grey”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Hebrews 5:11 “We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain because you are slow to learn.”

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Why was it difficult for Apostle Paul to explain about Melchizedek, even though he had much to say about him? First of all, let’s study the origin of Melchizedek.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Melchizedek, king of Salem, received Abraham and blessed him through bread and wine. Then Abraham gave Melchizedek a tenth of everything he owned.
When we study the Bible, we must keep in mind that the Old Testament is a copy and a shadow of the New Testament. Melchizedek, mentioned in the book of Genesis, also served as the shadow of a reality that was to come.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

Genesis 14:18-20 “Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High, and he blessed Abram…Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything.”

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_text_separator title=”Jesus Came in the Order of Melchizedek” title_align=”separator_align_center” color=”grey”][vc_column_text]Let’s find out, through the Bible, who is the reality of Melchizedek[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]

Matthew 26:28 “While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, ‘Take and eat; this is my body.’ Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, ‘Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.’”

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]In the Old Testament, the physical Melchizedek blessed Abraham through bread and wine In the New Testament, Jesus, the spiritual Melchizedek, blessed His people with eternal life through the Passover bread and wine. Therefore, we can understand that Melchizedek represents Jesus.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]

Hebrews 5:8-10 “Although he was a son, he [Jesus] … was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.”

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]This verse makes it clear that Jesus is the spiritual Melchizedek.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_text_separator title=”The Explanations of Melchizedek” title_align=”separator_align_center” color=”grey”][vc_column_text]

Hebrews 7:1-3 “This Melchizedek…Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, like the Son of God he remains a priest forever.”

[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]

1) “Without father or mother”

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

2) “Without genealogy”

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]The Bible testifies that only believers in God are considered to have father or mother (Mat 12:50). Thus, the words, “[Melchizedek is] without father or mother,” mean that the spiritual Melchizedek is to be born among unbelievers. Nevertheless, Jesus was born into a believing family: Joseph and Mary.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]In the Bible, “genealogy” refers to the twelve tribes of Israel. The words, “[Melchizedek is] without genealogy,” mean that the spiritual Melchizedek will be born among Gentiles; Jesus, however, was born from the tribe of Judah (Mat 1:1).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]These were the characteristics of Melchizedek that Apostle Paul felt were too hard to explain.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″ css=”.vc_custom_1415243191009{padding-bottom: 75px !important;}”][vc_text_separator title=”Christ Ahnsahnghong Came in the Order of Melchizedek” title_align=”separator_align_center” color=”grey”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]In order to fulfill the prophecies of Melchizedek, the Bible says Jesus is to come a second time.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

Hebrews 9:28 ”…he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.”

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]The Second Coming Jesus will fulfill the prophecies of Melchizedek:[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]

1) He will bless us with eternal life through the Passover bread and wine.
2) He will be born among unbelievers (“without father or mother”).
3) He will be born of Gentiles (“without genealogy”).
4) He is God (“without beginning of days or end of life”).

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]Christ Ahnsahnghong is the One who fulfilled all of these prophecies. How can we not believe in Him when all of the prophecies about the Second Coming Jesus testify that Ahnsahnghong is the Christ? The members of the Church of God believe that Ahnsahnghong is the Second Coming Christ, our Savior, who came in the order of Melchizedek according to the words of God.[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]Before the day of judgment comes, please accept Ahnsahnghong, the Second Coming Christ, who fulfilled the prophecies of Melchizedek. Christ Ahnsahnghong blessed us with eternal life through the bread and wine of the Passover. Therefore, He is our Savior.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]

Isaiah 25:6 “On this mountain the LORD Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine the best of meats and the finest of wines …he will swallow up death forever…In that day they will say, ‘Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us.’”

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]Even if a man performs a great miracle or wonder, if he has not come in the order of Melchizedek, he cannot be the Second Coming Christ.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Please recognize the Second Coming Christ through the words of the Bible so that you may receive salvation. The one who follows in the order of Melchizedek is the true God, our Savior.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
