2012 Hero Award Presented to Church of God
The United Blood Services awarded the World Mission Society Church of God with the 2012 Hero Award. The award is a token of appreciation for the Church’s participation in the United Blood Service’s February blood drive.
Members of the Church of God willingly donate blood as an act of giving love to the community. Members are well aware that one donation can save up to three lives. That is why every blood drive, members do their best to be able to donate lifesaving blood.
The Church of God participates and hosts blood drives around the world to share the love and concern of God the Mother. God the Mother has taught members of the Church of God to love others as God has loved us and to also love our neighbors more than ourselves. This humble example consistently leads to beautiful results around the world, as all members of the Church of God participate in community service activities following the teachings of Mother.
