Church of God in Maryland Receives Blood Drive Honor

Church of God in Maryland Blood Drive Recognized

The World Mission Society Church of God in Maryland held a blood drive on September 22, 2013 to unite the community in a movement to save lives. Human blood cannot be substituted for another substance and is a source of life: patients undergoing surgery require a steady stream of blood to survive.

This blood drive registered 83 donors and collected 64 units of blood. This kind of blood drive result has the opportunity to save up to 192 lives and, in the process, give comfort and relief to the families, friends and acquaintances of the recipients.

These are the kinds of results the Church of God seeks to achieve. All members of the Church of God hope to save even one life, understanding the impact one life has on the world world. Through this Certificate of Recognition from Inova Blood Donor Services, members were encouraged to continue their good work in the community.

The Church of God also appreciates Inova Blood Donor Services’ for working with us to change the world, one blood drive at a time.
