The Good Samaritan Movement

The World Mission Society Church of God is running the Food of Life Campaign as part of its nine-week Good Samaritan Movement aimed at changing the world one volunteer service at a time. This movement came about as a result of the example of Father Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother New Jerusalem whose love and sacrifice give life to the world!

The name of this movement stems from the Biblical parable of the Good Samaritan: an ordinary man who cared and nurtured a helpless and injured man by pouring on “oil and wine” when others would only pass by him. Though one might think this is just a story, this parable contains a deep and mysterious prophecy about the Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong, who came to this earth as the Good Samaritan and poured on us “oil and wine” by restoring the Passover Feast of God that was abolished during the 4th century.

The Good Samaritan Movement is composed of six volunteer campaigns: Food of Life, Blood for Life, Smile Campaign, Clean World Movement, Cheery Up Rally and Disaster First-Response. All these campaigns are aimed at delivering the love of Christ by helping those in need. To learn more about each facet of the movement, visit www.GoodSamaritanMovement.org.

It has set an ambitious goal to collect 40,000lbs. of food to be donated to City Harvest – New York. This will be the largest donation by a faith-based organization to date. Members of the WMSCOG are coming from as far north as Boston and as far south as Virginia Beach to initiate the Food of Life Campaign, inspired by the teachings of Christ Ahnsahnghong, who came as the living bread from heaven.

Two thousand years ago, Jesus promised that those who ate of this bread (His body) through the Passover of the New Covenant would live forever (Jn 6:51). After being abolished in AD 325, Christ came again with the name of Ahnsahnghong to restore the Passover that is His flesh and blood and also the source of eternal life. In order to spread this good news to the world, the members
