Memphis’ Mayor Expresses Appreciation for Church of God

For New Jerusalem Day, members of the World Mission Society Church of God organized a global environmental cleanup. Church of God members in Memphis, TN also participated in this event by cleaning its very own community.

Following the event, the Mayor of Memphis presented a proclamation to the World Mission Society Church of God and also God the Mother, Zahng Gil-Jah. All the members we so touched by the words the Mayor wrote. The proclamation from the City of Memphis reads:

“WHEREAS, the city of Memphis was part of a global campaign to commemorate the day of Jerusalem as volunteers from the World Mission Society Church of God held an environmental cleanup at Robert Church Park and along the banks of the mighty Mississippi River on December on 30, 2012; and

WHEREAS, this group of dedicated individuals has traveled throughout the world, organizing volunteer efforts to beautify our communities while spreading God’s message of love; and

WHEREAS, the International WeLoveU Foundation is making every effort of the reconciliation and kindness of the world and pursues the mindset of sharing a Mother’s Love by delivering hope and happiness to people under the heartfelt slogan, ‘Mother’s Love to the Whole World.’

NOW, THEREFORE, I A.C. WHARTON, JR., MAYOR OF THE CITY OF MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE do hereby honor

WORLD MISSION SOCIETY CHURCH OF GOD

AND

CHAIRWOMAN ZAHNG GIL-JAH – INTERNATIONAL WELOVEU FOUNDATION

and I ask the citizens to show appreciate to these individuals and organizations for their civic participation and commitment to strengthening our world and for making a difference through volunteer service and unwavering faith.”
