Church of God in Charlotte Saves Lives

Blood Center Shares Thanks

The Church of God has been recognized around the world for holding many lifesaving blood drives—and Charlotte, North Carolina is not an exception!

On December 20, 2012, in honor of New Jerusalem Day, organized a blood drive with Community Blood Center of the Carolinas. The Church decided to hold a blood drive for the occasion in order to emphasize the importance of blood—both physically and spiritually.

Through the event, the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas collected enough blood to save 84 lives. After the event, the Center gave the Church of God a certificate of thanks. The certificate reads. “On behalf of the patients and hospitals here in our community, we thank you and your donors for your continued support of community blood donation.”

The Church of God plans to continue saving lives by  holding blood drives and so also let people know about the spiritual lifesaving power of the Passover blood.
