On Sunday, July 5th, branch churches of the World Mission Society Church of God came together in New Windsor, New York for “Let’s Be Like Isaac” - a unity rally for the members of the East Coast branch churches. Biblically, at his birth, Isaac brought joy to his mother, Sarah, because she had been unable to have children and was well advanced in age. Through this rally, members were moved to make a firm resolution to bring joy and gladness to Heavenly Mother by expanding the Church of God to more locations on the East Coast.
The World Mission Society Church of God hosted its first-ever table tennis tournament on Father's Day, June 21, 2015. Players represented various nations including Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Jamaica, Haiti, Nigeria, Mexico, Italy, Dominican Republic and the United States.
On the warm Sunday afternoon of June 21st, families were busy celebrating and honoring their fathers for Father’s Day. Members of the Church of God in Ridgewood, NJ, too, hosted a BBQ for their friends, families and neighbors. Bright and happy faces streamed into the church to enjoy delicious home-cooked food and desserts.
