Members from the Church of God were a bit more yellow than normal when they swooped into the Amsterdam Nursing Home to deliver the love of Heavenly Mother, New Jerusalem. In just an hour, the Upper West Side nursing home awoke with excitement as members filled the home with their bright smiles, yellow shirts and this time, yellow scarves. Interacting with the residents, members from World Mission Society Church of God held performances, played bingo and enjoyed a video to put a smile on the faces of all the residents who attended.
Who do you call on when your entire town is flooded with over eight feet of water? Who can you turn to when in an instant you lose everything that has taken you a lifetime to build? During tragedies like these, we want to become like a child again and run to our mother's arms for comfort. About 200 volunteers from four branch locations of the World Mission Society Church of God joined the Englewood Medical Center to tackle that great task at the Walk for Awareness: Our Fight Against Breast Cancer. Volunteers came from the branch churches in Ridgewood, Botoga, Edgewater and Central Jersey.

On Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at 8:00 a.m., volunteers from the World Mission Society Church of God will join the Bergen County Division of Senior Services for the HealthEASE Senior Wellness Fair for more than 200 seniors. The fair will feature free health screenings for seniors, including blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol, foot, hearing, vision and more.
On September 22, 2013 the World Mission Society Church of God opened the doors of its 36th branch church on the East Coast, located in Floral Park, Long Island. Removing ten tons of debris is no easy task. But that's how 200 members from the World Mission Society Church of God in New York spent their Sunday on September 22nd. A year ago, a tropical storm that came to be known as Superstorm Sandy wrecked havoc on much of the East Coast. As we approach its first anniversary and families reflect on how drastically their lives have changed, members of the World Mission Society Church of God in Ocean, New Jersey decided to spread joy and love to senior citizens residing at Spring Oak Independent and Assisted Living Facility in Toms River, NJ.
