Families are the foundation of society and one of the most important systems on this earth. To show love and appreciation for families, the World Mission Society Church of God held its Family Appreciation Dinner in the Ridgewood Church. With more than 160 guests in attendance, the sanctuary - which was transformed into a performance hall - overflowed with joy and laughter.
With the warm Caribbean weather, what better way to spend a day than eating delicious ice cream? To share love with their neighbors, family and friends, the members of the Church of God in Bayamon, Puerto Rico hosted an ice cream social at their Church on January 20, 2014.
To share the love with family and friends, members of the Church of God in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico held a family barbecue on Sunday, January 19, 2014. For many, it was the first time visiting the Church of God and this was a perfect opportunity to feel and know more about the love of Heavenly Mother.
Who do you call on when your entire town is flooded with over eight feet of water? Who can you turn to when in an instant you lose everything that has taken you a lifetime to build? During tragedies like these, we want to become like a child again and run to our mother's arms for comfort. With this in mind and the heart of Heavenly Mother, the World Mission Society Church of God has been a first responder in recent disasters on the East Coast - particularly during Hurricanes Irene and Sandy. Both left a tremendous impact on the lives of millions of people in the tri-state area.
On September 22, 2013 the World Mission Society Church of God opened the doors of its 36th branch church on the East Coast, located in Floral Park, Long Island. The Church welcomed neighbors to learn about its local and global community service as well as its belief in God the Father and God the Mother.

This past December 25, 2011, the members of the World Mission Society Church of God from along the East Coast journeyed to Times Square in order to commemorate the birth of Christ Ahnsahnhong (the Second Coming Jesus), who was born on December 1, 1918 by the lunar calendar. The ensemble performed a special rendition of Handel's "Messiah" among other melodies. An audience of over 1,000 gathered to witness this astounding performance. The crowd then joined them in song, showing themselves to be members of the Church of God, donning yellow scarves and marching to the tune of a hymn entitled, "Let's Go to the World."
December 25, 2011 marked the 94th birthday of Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong, who was born on December 1, 1918 according to the lunar calendar. On this day, the east coast branches of the World Mission Society Church of God gathered for a special commemorative service to give thanks to the Savior who came in the name of King David. Over 1,100 brothers and sisters worshiped Second Coming Christ at the Meadowlands Sheraton Ballroom.
Members from approximately 30 branches of the Church of God from as far south as the Dominican Republic and as far north as New Hampshire traveled to New Jersey for a full day's worth of fun activities in what felt like an enormous family reunion.
