This past December 25, 2011, the members of the World Mission Society Church of God from along the East Coast journeyed to Times Square in order to commemorate the birth of Christ Ahnsahnhong (the Second Coming Jesus), who was born on December 1, 1918 by the lunar calendar. The ensemble performed a special rendition of Handel's "Messiah" among other melodies. An audience of over 1,000 gathered to witness this astounding performance. The crowd then joined them in song, showing themselves to be members of the Church of God, donning yellow scarves and marching to the tune of a hymn entitled, "Let's Go to the World."
December 25, 2011 marked the 94th birthday of Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong, who was born on December 1, 1918 according to the lunar calendar. On this day, the east coast branches of the World Mission Society Church of God gathered for a special commemorative service to give thanks to the Savior who came in the name of King David. Over 1,100 brothers and sisters worshiped Second Coming Christ at the Meadowlands Sheraton Ballroom.
